Since the inauguration of the Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman’s office in 1955, the Ombudsmen and their staff have shared the philosophy and ideas behind the ombudsman concept with the rest of the world.
The office is closed for telephone enquiries on Thursday May 22 from 14-15 and on Friday May 30.
Christian Britten Lundblad took up the position of Ombudsman on 1 May 2025. The Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman is a law graduate and is elected by the Danish Parliament, the Folketing, to investigate complaints about the public administration.
