Since the inauguration of the Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman’s office in 1955, the Ombudsmen and their staff have shared the philosophy and ideas behind the ombudsman concept with the rest of the world.
Mr Niels Fenger took up the position as Ombudsman in 2019. His previous employments include positions as judge at the Danish Eastern High Court and as professor of Administrative Law at the University of Copenhagen.
